I just bought a new echo trimmer and it looks like it's leaking fuel/oil at the bottom of the flywheel housing where at the seem where it meets the engine block. It's leaking down onto the gas tank too. I though it's just because it's new and the rings haven't seated yet but it have around ... Even though you are only using a small amount in the 2-cycle weed eater, you still need to measure it out. As mentioned before, too little or too much oil will cause damage to the engine. Take the time to be precise.
