Web28 feb. 2024 · Kernowite is a name derived from the Cornish word for Cornwall, Kernowite. It was created by mineralogist Mike Rumsey for the Natural History Museum. Since 1964, a rock specimen at the NHM has yielded the mineral. When you mix Kernowite with aluminium, the difference is that aluminium is a base metal while Kernowite is a byproduct.
